In light of Ofsted's decision to discontinue subject deep dives in ungraded inspections starting September 2024, SchooliP can play a vital role in supporting schools through this transition.  Sir Martyn Oliver stated that cramming detailed graded inspections into ungraded ones isn't helpful. Instead, inspections should resemble monitoring visits. Due to this change, 40% of next year's school inspections won't have deep dives. The change follows concerns, particularly from small primary schools, about the challenging nature of the methodology.

As inspections shift towards resembling monitoring visits, SchooliP provides a robust platform for schools to streamline their processes and focus on areas of improvement. With SchooliP, schools can efficiently manage and track their progress in key areas such as curriculum impact and personal development, aligning with the new inspection approach. The platform's features, including performance management functionalities, enable schools to effectively demonstrate their strengths and areas for development.

Inspectors will use extended learning walks to assess curriculum impact and personal development instead of deep dives.

SchooliP facilitates meaningful conversations about school progress by centralising data and insights, allowing educators to collaborate and reflect on their practices. SchooliP helps schools prepare for inspections and engage in constructive dialogue with inspectors by providing a comprehensive overview of school performance.

Furthermore, SchooliP supports schools in addressing concerns about increased reliance on data by emphasising the importance of understanding a school's strengths beyond numerical indicators. Through features such as self-reflection tools and professional development tracking, SchooliP encourages a holistic approach to school improvement, focusing on the broader aspects of teaching quality and student outcomes.

As further changes, coinciding with ongoing consultation through Ofsted's "Big Listen," are expected in the inspection process, SchooliP remains adaptable and responsive, enabling schools to navigate evolving requirements seamlessly. By leveraging SchooliP's capabilities, schools can effectively demonstrate their commitment to continuous improvement and enhance their overall readiness for inspections.
